Terms of Use
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Agreement
By using IntactPDF you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
The service
IntactPDF provides free, browser-based PDF utilities. Processing is designed to run in your browser. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every PDF feature (forms, scripts, rare encodings), or a particular compression ratio.
No accounts or paid plans
IntactPDF is offered as a free utility in Mode A: no login, no Pro tier, and no ads on the product pages at the time of this update.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the files you process and for complying with applicable law (including copyright and confidentiality). Do not use IntactPDF to attempt to bypass encryption without authorization — Unlock only accepts a password you supply.
Compress honesty
The Compress tool redraws pages as images at a reduced scale and JPEG quality. That can reduce visual fidelity. Preview and keep originals when quality matters.
Disclaimer
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the site is limited to zero US dollars, because the product is free and does not process your files on our servers.
Changes
We may modify these Terms by updating this page. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
